Part 2 of the Workshop took place very actively in the form of roundtable discussions. The participants exchanged related issues and connected scientists with businesses to come up with practical solutions for food safety. Prof. Dr. Anil Kumar Anal (Asian Institute of Thailand) shared the experience of Thai scientists in working closely with businesses through managing research working days the research institute and at other enterprises, for that purpose, the company would have benefits of tax exemption. Participating enterprises also mentioned the issues they are interested in, such as evaluating local probiotic strains. Scientists from the university and institute frankly discussed and agreed on a number of key directions that need consensus so that research results can be applied efficiently.
