Over 64 years of operation, the numbers of professors, lecturers, and staff of the School of Biotechnology and Food Technology are constantly growing. We have leading experts in Vietnam in the field of biotechnology and food technology.
From the early day of founding, the Department of Microbiology – Biochemistry under the Faculty of Chemical Engineering had only 3 professors teaching microbiology, biochemistry, and 1 service officer. Up to now, in 2021, the faculty and staff of the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology include 58 staff, including 42 teaching staff (1 Professor, 15 Associate Professors, 24 Doctors, and 2 Masters), 13 technical staff (1 Doctor, 9 Masters and 3 Engineers) and 3 Administrative staff (Master holder). These are lecturers and staff with highly professional qualifications, domestically and internationally well-trained in many countries around the world such as the Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Austria, America, Japan, France, Australia … School of Biotechnology and Food Technology has always been a leading reliable scientific research and training site in Vietnam in the field of biotechnology and food technology.
With a team of experienced and enthusiastic staff, along with a significant increase in furbished facilities, and close cooperation with scientific research units enterprises, the quality of training is enhanced to achieve the following goals:
