Continuing the great cooperation tradition between the two units, in 2022, the School of Biotechnology and Food Technology welcomes a group of 12 exchange students to study, visit and exchange experiences with students in the School.
As part of a series of student exchange events, a welcoming ceremony for exchange students from Kagawa University (Japan) took place on the afternoon of August 26, 2022, at the Office of the School of Biotechnology and Food Technology.
Attending the welcoming ceremony were representatives of Kagawa University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chu Ky Son – Director of the School of Biotechnology & Food Technology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Tu – Deputy Director of the School of Biotechnology & Food Technology and other professors in the Department. There was also presence of many Vietnamese and Japanese students.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the two sides’ leaders sent each other friendly greetings. Immediately afterward, the School and Kagawa University representatives discussed training programs and orientations for cooperation between the two parties. In addition, the two units wish to be able to coordinate to organize more student exchanges between the two schools. The atmosphere of the meeting was lively and fun with the presence of students.

The welcome ceremony for students from Kagawa University of the School of Biotechnology and Food Technology took place successfully. At the ceremony, representatives of the two units expressed their joy and confidence in future exchanges and development orientations.

Within the framework of the exchange program, the Kagawa student group will stay at the School of Biotechnology and Food Technology until September 27, 2022. Some of the main activities of the delegation include the School of Biotechnology and Food Technology organizing teaching and exchange sessions for Kagawa students and taking students to visit food factories in Vietnam. Furthermore, arranging to take Kagawa students to visit historical and cultural sites to celebrate National Day on September 2 with the participation of students from both countries. In addition, Japanese and Vietnamese students have a cultural art exchange together. School of Biotechnology and Food Technology hopes that with the upcoming experiences, Japanese students will have a wonderful time at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
