Mô hình đào tạo đại học tại Viện CNSH & CNTP áp dụng từ K62 (tuyển sinh năm 2017)

1. Training model for courses from K62 (enrollment from 2017)

According to the university training model of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the undergraduate training programs of the School of Biotechnology and Food Technology include:
  • Training Program Bachelor (engineering/technology) – 4 years;
  • Integrated training program Bachelor – Engineer – (4+1) years;
  • Integrated training program Bachelor – Master – (4+1.5) years;
  • Training program Bachelor – Master – Doctor – 8.5 years.
With training disciplines:
  • Bioengineering;
  • Food Engineering;
  • Advanced Program in Food Engineering (enrollment from K64 – 2019).

Objectives of the Bachelor’s Program:
  1. Solid professional knowledge base to be able to adapt well to different work positions in a wide field of study.
  2. Professional skills and personal qualities necessary for career success.
  3. Social skills needed to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and in international environments.
  4. Capability to participate in deploying, exploiting, and operating/using systems/processes/products, capacity to participate in system building and development, creating products, contributing to researching technical solutions in the field disciplines in economic, social, and environmental contexts.
  5. Having political qualities, a sense of serving the people, having good health, meeting the requirements of national construction and defense.
Objectives of the Bachelor – Engineer integrated training program:
  1. Solid professional knowledge base to adapt well to different jobs in a wide field while having in-depth knowledge of a narrow specialty of the training industry.
  2. Professional skills and personal qualities necessary for career success.
  3. Social skills needed to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and in international environments.
  4. Competence to project, design, implement and operate food/biological engineering equipment and processes appropriate to economic, social, and environmental contexts.
  5. Having political qualities, a sense of serving the people, having good health, meeting the requirements of national construction and defense
Integrated Bachelor – Master training program:
  • The program is applied from the 62nd class, enrolled in 2017 with a standard training period of 5.5 years;
  • Graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s degree (undergraduate) and a Master’s degree (graduate);
  • In addition to the basic goal of an engineer training program, the integrated Bachelor – Master program is equipped with in-depth professional knowledge and solid professional competence to become technical experts, researchers, and university lecturers, …
  •  The program will also help learners reduce Master training time compared to previous training models.

2. Training model for courses from K65 (enrollment from 2020)

From courses 65, that is, for students entering from 2020 or later, the amount of knowledge of the engineering program is regulated to be 180 credits, equivalent to Level 7 of the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework. Accordingly, the university training model of Hanoi University of Science and Technology has been adjusted as shown in the following figure:

The School of Biotechnology and Food Technology has been developing details of the 180-credit Engineer training program framework and will update it for students. The Bachelor’s training program is still applied according to the program from Course 62.
